There is a fight night at the Innisfail gym in November.
Simo’s Boxing Club are running an Amateur Fight Night at 2 Michael Street on Saturday 14 November. Doors open at 5pm and the first fight is at 6pm.
It is a sanctioned card. The night is on the Sunstate Amateur Boxing League’s 2026 tournament calendar — the same league that sanctions Force Fight Night up at Mossman — and it is the only fixture on that calendar all year that lands in Innisfail.
Getting in
$20 for adults, $10 for 10 to 16 year olds, and under 10s are free. You can pay in person or by PayID — the details are on the poster. The poster also says no refunds on tickets, so that is worth knowing before you buy.
Worth turning up for
An amateur card in your own gym is a rare thing. If you train at Michael Street you will be watching from the room you train in, and if you have ever thought about having a fight yourself, this is the closest look you will get at what that actually involves.
Bring the family — the under-10s ticket being free says what kind of night it is meant to be.
