Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership payments
Membership fees are paid weekly via the member’s nominated payment method.
Memberships are ongoing and will continue until cancelled in accordance with these terms.
Cancellation
A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required to cancel a membership. Membership fees remain payable during the 30-day notice period.
There is no cancellation fee. We do not charge members to leave.
Notice may be given by messaging us in the app, by speaking to our front desk or admin staff, or by email to [email protected]. However notice is given, we will confirm the cancellation and the date of the final payment in writing. That written confirmation from us is the record of the notice — if you have not received it, please follow up with us rather than assuming a message has been actioned.
Memberships cannot be cancelled by the member directly in the app.
Short-term memberships arranged for visitors are not subject to the 30-day notice period.
Membership suspension
Members may suspend their membership for up to 4 weeks in total per calendar year, for up to one month at a time.
Suspension requests may be made by messaging us in the app, by speaking to our front desk or admin staff, or by email to [email protected], and should be made at least 7 days before the requested suspension start date.
Suspensions cannot be applied retrospectively and unused suspension time does not carry over into the following calendar year.
Returning members
If you have trained with us before and rejoin, we add two weeks of credit to your account when your new membership starts. It is applied at the time you rejoin, has no cash value and is not transferable.
This is what we currently offer every returning member. Like the rest of these terms, it may change with reasonable notice.
Membership use
Memberships are personal to the member and are non-transferable.
The member is responsible for ensuring their nominated payment method remains valid and has sufficient funds available for scheduled membership payments.
Changes to membership terms
The M A Connection may amend membership fees or these terms from time to time by providing members with reasonable notice.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
Acceptance
By purchasing a membership and accepting these terms electronically, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to these Membership Terms & Conditions.
