Two of our Muay Thai coaches fight on the same card in Townsville next month.
James Richardson, Townsville, 10 October
Our Cairns Muay Thai coach James Richardson fights Ethan Morrison of Courage Training Centre at Quayside Terminal in Townsville on Saturday 10 October, on the Legacy Fight Promotions card.
If you take his Muay Thai classes at Stratford, this is your coach doing the thing he teaches. It is a three-hour drive and it is worth the trip. Tickets are through Legacy Muay Thai Series — ask at the desk if you want a hand sorting one out.
Jesse Clarke, same card, semi-main event
Jesse Clarke, who coaches Muay Thai at our Innisfail gym, is on the same Legacy bill in the semi-main event — fighting Jace Schafer of Ronin Academy at 62kg over three three-minute rounds. He fights out of Lethal Muay Thai.
Both gyms on one bill
James coaches at Stratford and Jesse coaches at Michael Street, so whichever gym you train at, one of these two has taken you through pads. If you were already making the trip for James, you get both on the same night.
There is more on in October, too — Kyle and Brodie Mayocchi both fight later in the month, Kyle in Tokyo and Brodie for a title in Brisbane. That one has its own post: Kyle and Brodie Mayocchi both fight in October.
